Hello, I’m Rose!

I’m a neurodivergent Registered Play Therapist based in Adelaide Australia, creator of My Little Therapy Shop, and President of the national Play Therapy Practitioners Association (PTPA).

Like most of the kids I work with, I grew up struggling to make sense of my different brain and big emotions. So it is a genuine joy and privilege that I’m now invited to pour all of my lived experience with years of clinical training in psychology, child-centered play therapy (CCPT) and counselling to help young folks and their families explore, express, accept, and celebrate what makes them sparkle.

I’m constantly amazed by the quiet power of CCPT, and by the courage, growth, and resilience I see in the children and families I work with — often during some of the most challenging seasons of their lives.

I’m married, with two ragdoll cats called Monty and Lulu. Thanks to my neurosparkly brain, I love hobby-hopping between things like hiking, horse riding, reading, learning, travelling and making art.
